Noknok were nothing short of fabulous in developing the Doncaster Rovers website. From the initial creative concept right through to implementation, everything felt simple and ‘handled’.

Why Noknok

Built differently for football clubs.

  • Fixtures and results that update automatically

Fixtures, results and ladders come straight from supported federation feeds. Nobody at the club has to enter scores or keep them updated.

  • Built for volunteers to manage

Update sponsors, coaches, news and pages yourself, using a system designed to keep the website looking consistent.

  • Expressions of interest in one place

Collect player expressions of interest through the website, with age calculations, guardian details for under-18s and spreadsheet export built in.

  • Sponsors get a proper presence

Create your own sponsorship tiers, control where sponsors appear and give major partners the visibility their support deserves.

Live fixtures

Fixtures that update themselves.

Fixtures, results and ladders are pulled from supported federation competition feeds and displayed on your website by team, age group and home or away. When the competition data changes, your website updates with it. No manual updates from your volunteers.

The fixtures filters on the Doncaster Rovers website, narrowing from every team to the Seniors, then to Women and Girls, then to one team's results, then to home and away matches, and back to the full club list.

Available today for clubs under:

  • Football NSW
  • Football Victoria
  • Football South Australia
  • Football Tasmania
  • Capital Football (ACT)

If your club sits outside these five federations, the live fixture feed is not currently available. We will tell you that before you commit.

If the feed is temporarily unavailable, your website keeps showing the last fetched fixtures and displays when they were last updated, rather than leaving the section blank.

What you get

Websites for soccer clubs, built around what the committee updates.

  • Sponsor tiers that fit your club

Set up the tiers your club uses, then manage logos, descriptions and links in one place.

  • Coaches and committee

Add roles, teams, qualifications and photos, and update them as people change.

  • Expressions of interest in one place

Collect player details, calculate age, request guardian details for under-18s and export submissions to a spreadsheet.

  • Club news, kept on brand

Publish match reports, announcements and grant news using your approved club styles.

  • New pages, without the developer

Build new pages from the same reusable sections used across the site, without having to design them from scratch.

Case study

What we built for Rovers.

Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club (opens in a new tab) went live on 7 August 2026. Noknok handled the website design and development for this Football Victoria club, and the committee manages it themselves now.

Where the club was

Rovers runs programs from MiniRoos through to senior football, with a growing women’s and girls’ program and a volunteer committee. Its website needed to bring a lot of club information together without becoming another job for volunteers.

What changed

We rebuilt the site around the things the committee actually manages: programs, teams, policies, sponsors, coaches and expressions of interest. Fixtures, results and ladders come from Football Victoria automatically, while the committee can update the rest themselves.

In developing websites myself and seeing the implementation of many others over the years, I have never seen or experienced such a smooth and rapid process. Thank you Nikki you are amazing!

Sponsorship

Noknok can sponsor part of the build.

A custom club website is beyond the budget of many volunteer-run clubs. Where a partnership makes sense on both sides, Noknok can reduce the build price in return for agreed sponsorship exposure and introductions.

A partnership usually includes:

  • An introduction to the businesses that already sponsor your club
  • A credit and link in the website footer, and permission to show the work
  • An announcement across your club channels, and an introduction to other clubs in your league

We do not offer a standard sponsored price because every partnership is considered club by club. We will tell you the reduced build price and what we would ask from the club before you decide whether to proceed.

Ask about sponsorship

How it works

From first call to first whistle.

Tell us about your club

Your teams, your federation, how many people run the place, and what the season looks like from the inside.

Agree the scope and the price

We write down exactly what the build covers. You approve it before anything is invoiced — the committee sees the whole thing first.

Hand over what you have

One guided intake collects your teams, sponsors, policies and history. We move the content across from your existing site.

See it working

A complete website you can click through, with your own fixtures already flowing into it.

Refine it with the committee

Send us consolidated feedback from the committee. We work through the agreed revisions before launch.

Launch, then hand it over

We take it live and walk your volunteers through running it, so the knowledge does not leave with one person.

Scope and price are agreed in writing before anything is invoiced. Your project is governed by Noknok's Customer Terms.

Club questions

Questions a committee asks.

Can a volunteer really keep this up to date?

Yes. Fixtures and results update automatically. Everything else, including news, sponsors, coaches and pages, is edited through a stripped-back WordPress setup with your colours and layouts already defined. We train more than one person, so the site does not depend on a single volunteer.

What if our federation is not one of the five?

Then the live fixtures feed is not available to you, and we would tell you that before you commit rather than after. Everything else in the build works the same. Get in touch and we will check your competition system first.

Is there a page limit?

There is no fixed page cap after launch. The pages included in the initial build are agreed in your project scope, and moving the agreed existing content across is included. After launch, you can add more pages yourself using the same set of reusable sections.

What does it cost to keep running?

If you want Noknok to host and look after the site, Website Care and Support covers hosting, backups, monitoring and WordPress updates. The first month is included. It is a separate ongoing service, and the website can be moved to another provider at any time. See what Care and Support covers

Our club cannot fund this outright. Is that the end of it?

Not necessarily. We reduce the build cost for clubs where a sponsorship partnership makes sense on both sides. It is considered case by case rather than offered as a standing discount, so tell us about your club and we will have the conversation.

Are we locked in to Noknok after launch?

No. Once the project is paid for, you receive the access and rights needed to keep, host, maintain, modify and move the completed website to another provider. Your domain, content and database remain under your control. There is no rental model or lock-in contract. Third-party software remains subject to its own licences.
